How do I start a group? How do I join a group? How do I remove a group that I started? Can we change the group moderator? Do I have to be a member to use the groups? How do I start a group? Registered members may start a group by visiting the groups area of the Oddpodz network. Choose "Groups" from the drop-down menu under "Network" at the top of the page. There, you will see a "Create your OWN Group" link immediately below the search groups box. Simply follow that link and fill in your group name, category and whether you want your group to be public or private. If you do not want your group to be open to anybody, you may choose to make it either invitation only or allow others to request membership. How do I join a group? If you wish to join a group that is not open to the public, email the moderator and request in invitation. You will be notified via email and provate message when your membership is approved. How do I remove a group that I started? Only the group moderator is able to delete a group. If you are the creator and have not transferred your moderator status to another group member, you may delete the group from you moderator menu within the group you wish to delete. All groups of which you are a member can be found in the "my groups" tab at the bottom of your profile. Can we change the group moderator? The moderator of a group can transfer the title to another group member. This option is available in the moderator menu within the group profile view. Do I have to be a member to use the groups? Yes. Only registered users may create and join groups. |
